oh yeah... last day of school for my kids...

wasn't this just THE BEST day when you were a kid??

i remember we would always try to have a water fight on our bus.. and days before the last day we would all bring various water holding contraptions like squirt guns and bottles of water and try to hide them under the seats and anywhere else on the bus that we thought the bus driver wouldn't be able to find them... LOL... he always did. we never had many actual water fights.. but the preparation for that last day was so fun... :)

of course i needed some little gifts for chloe & caden's amazing teachers.. so i wrapped up a towel, a copy of O magazine and some sunscreen... made cards to match their towels and tried to express to each of them how much i appreciate how they have cared for and taught my kids this year. of course no words could do their job justice, but i hope they get the drift that i think they are each pretty cool! :)

JUNE 1st ALREADY!??

wow! that sure snuck up on me!

i just realized the date.

i was uploading pics on shutterfly and went to put them in a new album,

the album date read 6/1..

i looked at it and said out loud..

"today is 6/1???"

yep! it sure is!

it is simply THE most BEAUTIFUL morning here..

i got up early and went for a walk...

when i got back... made some coffee

and sat outside with the girls in the sunshine...

it is already 70 degrees... absolutely PERFECT!
