Here is something that I found on

Pinterest... I pinned it to one of my boards...

then I used it as inspiration for 2 other projects.

this was the idea I saw on Pinterest...

this is MY version.. .

using an old screen I picked up at a garage sale...

some clothespins... and my favorite photos of my kids

from our recent trip to Florida

 and THIS is the SCRAPBOOK version I created

from the Pinterest INSPIRATION above

I used the JANUARY KIT OF THE MONTH

{Heart & Soul} 

for the sentiments on my layout.

Here we are... January 2012... a Brand New Year...

a fresh start, another chance, a whole year ahead to

make changes and try new things.

Did YOU make any New Year's Resolutions for 2012?

I am pretty random.... but this year I did make

ONE resolution FOR SURE that I intend to stick with.

If you know me... you know that I have never been a huge exercise buff...

that my friends is changing for 2012.

I joined Snap Fitness and have a whole new outlook on health and fitness.

I am taking a BootCamp class and getting myself to the gym at least 4 days a week.

NOW is the TIME

to create a NEW HABIT that will hopefully stick with me

for the rest of my life.

Here are a couple bits of INSPIRATION that I've found to encourage myself.

It is definitely NOT easy... but I know it will be worth it!

My NEW mindset about Exercise can also be applied to my

 CRAFT ROOM...

I know it won't be EASY to get all of my photos organized...

my scrapbook layouts in albums... and projects finished that I've wanted to complete...

BUT

it. can. be. done.

and it will be in 2012

Anything is possible if you set your mind to it and follow through.

December KOM... last chance!

the last few days of DECEMBER are slipping away...

not only is this kit filled with LOVE...

but it is filled with ADORABLE stamps that are so versatile.

with the new year just around the corner...

I am bound and determined to whip this place into shape

and organize all the spaces that need some help.

The plan for one of my closets is to have my hubby build

cubbies and then fill them with baskets like this one above.

{or bins of some type... depending on the dimensions of the cubbies}

I am making personalized tags for each of the bins/baskets.

Each family member will have their own little spot for things in the closet.

to make this tag for Chloe's basket, I used an old deck of playing cards.

I just trimmed my Tim Holtz paper to fit the card, glued it on

with Mono Multi, rounded the corners, and added my embellishments.

The little jar from the Dec. KOM worked perfectly in the center of the tag.

I punched a hole in the corner and tied on a button using some twine.

Super easy project that didn't take long at all.

First I stamped, then paper pieced this

jolly snowman on a tag and tied it

to a bottle of Bath & Body Works hand soap.

Makes a nice little hostess gift

for those holiday get togethers!

For today, I got a jump start on my Christmas cards.

It seems like I am always picking up

gift cards, and it is fun to give them in a cute holder.

This is a super SIMPLE little card that even your KIDS can help make!

I simply folded a 4X8 inch strip of paper in half

to make a 4X4 card, then added a pocket inside to

hold the gift card.

For the outside, I stamped

SO easy. SO fun!
