Sweet Summer Memories...

Happy Hip Hop Thursday!!

SUMMER has FINALLY arrived here...

and JUNE is almost OVER... LOL

I thought I better document our June activities

before I forgot what we did the past month...

I decided to make a quick little mini album that I can store or show off easily.

I am a huge fan of mini albums and LOVE to create them.

( I have a whole basket full in my kitchen for peeps to peruse

when they are here and we are cooking or visiting.)

I used the GORGEOUS JULY Kit of the Month

{Better Together}
Here is a SNEAK PEEK for you...
{I used the sentiment on one of my pages below}

and the newly released ADORABLE kit

 Sweet Summer Memories by Simple Stories

I printed all my photos in wallet size.

The pages are approx. 3X4 inches.

Some pages are paper, some cardstock and some chipboard.

I added stamped sentiments and images, printed quotes,

photos, fabric and ribbon tabs, & epoxy stickers.

I also did some machine sewing around the edges after distressing.

I used my Crop-a-Dile to punch a hole in the corner of each page,

and threaded them on a blue ring. Easy Peasy!

I think this kit is SOOOO ADORABLE..

so I decided to use my Challenge Card

as INSPIRATION

for a LAYOUT...

and JUNE KIT OF THE MONTH { all smiles}

 I stamped the little circle sentiments...

then punched them out and adhered to my layout

with foam mounting tape for a 3D effect.

The circles fit PERFECTLY in the bottlecaps on my Tim Holtz paper...

 let the good times roll... I added the month and year with a simple date stamp..

 loving those alpha stamps in the June KOM... perfect for titles!

I alternated the circle sentiments with some clear epoxy sentiment stickers.

My last day of WORK until FALL...

so now it is officially SUMMER for this chick..
