machine stitching on ribbon to create a ruffle

 hand stitching with embroidery floss

 more ruffle making with machine stitching on ribbon

zig zag stitch to create accent on edge of photo

 stitching on denim for border

large ruffle border made from torn piece of fabric and machine stitching
