Here is the card I made inspired by Oprah's dinner table setting..

I used the color scheme and went for it with reds, blues & white!

This card I made for the Thursday Challenge at SCS...WAYS TO USE IT... {WT178} .. hosted by Michele... featuring GEMS and making something BeJeweled!

I love how this one turned out.. so funky.. as I stamped it.. Caden & I noticed that between the ovals.. the space appeared to look like a butterfly.. so I simply cut it out with my exacto, added some glitter and bling and made it into one! I also used black acrylic paint rather than ink for the distressed/not so perfect look.

and remember that these days of innocence

and being little just FLY right on by...

one minute i had a newborn.. getting no sleep..

and just living moment to moment..

loving every second of being a mom...

and now.... there are 4 kids... and my oldest is 8!!

This girl is a JOY.. she is so smart and hardworking.

She loves animals. She is responsible beyond her years.

She is cute and funny and spunky!

and i love her more than she could ever comprehend!

So.. today i will take this time

to stop and enjoy the way she is RIGHT NOW.

Here is a card i did for Roxie's sketch challenge over on Splitcoast Stampers. I love how this turned out! its the BEST when things {come together} as i envision them! i tried to get a different view to show off the texture and layers. the bigger mushroom has double mounting foam tape underneath, so IRL its popped up and so cute!

Well... i didn't have ANY martinis this weekend..
but i do enjoy them on occasion...

which was the case below when Angela and I

were out at Gibson's in Chicago during CHA.

They had the BEST martinis.. YUMMY!!!!!!
